Jayson Tatum hits buzzer-beater to give the Boston Celtics a 126-123 overtime victory over the visiting Toronto Raptors in the regular season of the National Basketball Association (NBA), BTA reported.
Tatum finished with 24 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Jaylen Brown led the way with 27 points. Jakob Poeltl scored a career-high 35 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Toronto, which suffered its eighth loss in eight road games this season.
RJ Barrett added 25 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds for the Raptors, who have lost seven straight and 11 of their last 12. Barrett's basket tied the game at 123-123 with 55:3 left in overtime before Tatum made the winning three. De'Aaron Fox scored 49 points for Sacramento's 121-117 win over visiting Utah. Kevin Huerter added 18 points and Trey Lyles 17 for the Kings, who sealed the victory after two Fox free throws with 1:8 left.
Lauri Markkanen was the top scorer for the "jazzmen" with 25 points. Anthony Davis finished with 31 points and 14 rebounds, and visiting Los Angeles won its fifth straight, beating New Orleans 104-99.
LeBron James failed to extend his streak of four consecutive "triple-double" career, but scored 21 points, including back-to-back 3-pointers in the final two minutes. Brandon Ingram had 32 and Jaylen Nowell 16 for the Pelicans. LaMelo Ball had a strong second half and scored 26 points, including two free throws with 7:3 seconds left, and Charlotte beat visiting Milwaukee 115-114.
Myles Bridges scored 19 points and Josh Green 15 for the win. "Triple-double" of Giannis Antetokounmpo was not enough for the Bucks. He scored 22 points and added 15 rebounds and 12 assists. Dallas won against San Antonio with 110:93 after 22 points from Kyrie Irving and Daniel Gafford.
