Manchester City are in talks to extend the agreement with striker Erling Holland, reports the Mirror.
According to the source “citizens“ are ready to offer the 24-year-old footballer a two-year contract with a salary of 500 thousand pounds per week. If the Norwegian agrees to the deal, he will become the highest-paid footballer in the Premier League, overtaking team-mate Kevin De Bruyne, who is currently on £400,000-a-week.
Manchester City management are quite confident that Holland will re-sign with the club.
The Norwegian has been playing for the English team since 2022. In total, he made 114 appearances for the Blues, scoring 105 goals and providing 14 assists. His contract with Manchester City runs until June 2027.
