Armenia beat Latvia 2:1 away in the last round of Group C/4 of the Nations League. With the success, the Armenians finished second in the standings and will play a playoff for promotion to League B.

The match in Riga was led by a Bulgarian team of referees with chief referee Georgi Kabakov and assistants Martin Margaritov and Diyan Valkov.

In the 48th minute, the midfielder of the Armenian national team, Eduard Spertian, opened the scoring, and Robert Uldrikis equalized in the 70th minute. Five minutes later, Artur Miranyan scored the winning goal for the guests.

The defeat left Latvia in last place in the group and the team was relegated to League D.

In the other group match, the Republic of North Macedonia beat the Faroe Islands hard at home with 1:0. Boyan Miovski scored the only goal in the 62nd minute.

The home team had secured first place in the group and the meeting in Skopje mattered only to the visitors who, if successful, would finish in second place.
