Surprisingly, after the dismissal of Stanislav Genchev as Levski's head coach, one of his assistants remains working for the future coach. It is Darko Tasevski, who has agreed with the club's management to be part of the new coaching team, Sportal.bg reported.
This is a rather unexpected decision by the former playmaker, who was brought to "Gerena" in the summer by Genchev with the assistance of his first assistant Zhivko Milanov, with whom they were teammates in the last title of the "Blues" - 2009, and they are also close friends.
Interestingly, a few days ago, when the former coach of the 26-time champions of Bulgaria gave a special press conference, he clearly stated that he would continue to work with this team in his future professional challenge. In addition, Genchev categorically denied having had a scandal with the former North Macedonia international, as such information also appeared.
The fact is that the former playmaker also did not fully agree with the 3-5-2 scheme that Genchev imposed throughout his stay at the club this season, as this was particularly clearly demonstrated after the 2:3 defeat by Septemvri (Sofia) of "Georgi Asparuhov" last month.
