Stanimir Stoilov decided to leave Levski on his own, no one chased him. He had full carte blanche to work as he wanted, said club owner Nasko Sirakov in an interview for the podcast "Kod Sport", bTV reported.
"Enemies with Murray? Strongly speaking. I have nothing to regret. If anyone should regret it, it's Stanimir Stoilov", commented Levski's top scorer.
He added that if former CEO Ivaylo Ivkov had not been fired, the consequences would have been very severe. "I was late in firing him. I was drastically late. I should have done this useful work for the club much earlier."
"He accumulated millions of additional debts. If he had stayed at Levski for another three months, the club would have gone bankrupt," Sirakov was categorical.
