The new obstacle in front of him is the Argentine Francisco Cerundolo, and the bet is a place in the semifinals in sunny Florida.
The meeting between the two is the third in the program on the center court, which opens at 19:00 with the duel between Iga Sviontek and Alexandra Eala.
Alexander Zverev and Artur Fiss will appear at the Stadium no earlier than 21:00, and only then will it be the turn of the Bulgarian and the Argentine.
Yesterday, the 33-year-old Grigor gave a real lecture on mastery to the young American Brendon Nakashima, eliminating him 6:4, 7:5 in an hour and 24 minutes to record his second victory in three matches against this opponent.
