Botev (Plovdiv) head coach Dushan Kerkez emphasized the lack of concentration and tactical discipline in the second half of the match against Beroe and confirmed again that he will almost certainly leave the coaching post of the "canaries" after the end of the current football season, BTA reported.
"We can return to reality. We started the match well and played well in the first half. We should have scored a second goal. Before the end of the first half and in the second we lacked concentration and tactical discipline. We have five more matches and we will fight for a play-off," said Kerkez and again drew attention to the difficult situation in the club.
"We received salaries for February. We know that it will be difficult until the end. I congratulate the players. It's difficult for everyone who works here. We want to win promotion to Europe for all of us. If that happens, it will be good for all the players who will stay here. There is truth in the fact that I and the coaching staff have made mistakes, but a lot of things have happened at the club. I said that I am leaving at 99 percent. I am staying at that one percent probability because nothing is known. It would be better for me to leave and go to another country. I am a professional. What is written about other teams in Bulgaria - there is no truth at all," explained the Botev coach.
