Krumovgrad head coach Rosen Kirilov did not hide his serious disappointment after the 1:2 loss to Septemvri, after which his team was relegated from the First League, BTA reported.
"I'm not mad. As you saw, half the team was gone. Most of the Bulgarians with Katalin Itou and Thiago Veiga, who are honored that they came out today and wanted us to win until the end. Thanks also to the Bulgarians for throwing themselves until the end. We had situations today and things could have developed in our favor. In the end, we got quite exposed and September logically scored a second goal for us, but we just took a risk because we had to win," Kirilov said after the match.
"I can say that Krumovgrad played honestly and tried to win with football means. We are watching how everyone mysteriously united against Krumovgrad. I don't want to talk... I am affected... We knew that Botev Vratsa is a very strong team and will beat Slavia, so we needed a mandatory victory," he also said.
