The Olympic vice-champion in rhythmic gymnastics from Paris 2024 Boryana Kalein bid farewell to the Bulgarian audience with the benefit show "Reborn", which was held at "Arena 8888" immediately after the end of the World Championship for girls in the capital, BTA reported.
Kalain came out to put the final point on a sports path filled with challenges, highs, lows and, above all, aspiration - an aspiration to prove to yourself and the world that you are the competitor, the fighter, the hero that everyone has believed in since the first time you stepped into the hall.
The benefit "Reborn" was a kind of reference to her career and recreated the experiences of grace through the power of art - music, dance and words in one. The performance intertwined the motifs of good and evil, hesitation, self-denial and the overriding desire to overcome oneself and win.
Performances of Kalein from her early years were performed by young gymnasts, and the Olympic vice-champion herself performed parts of her four routines with which she won silver in Paris 2024.
In the official part, speeches to the audience were delivered by Branimira Markova, general manager of the national rhythmic gymnastics team for women and girls, Mariana Pamukova, personal trainer of Boryana Kalein, Iliana Raeva, president of the Bulgarian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, and Boryana Kalein.
