Kyle Walker will strengthen Burnley after signing a two-year contract, reports DPA. Walker had one year left on his contract with Manchester City, but decided to accept Burnley's offer, adds BTA.
Walker started last season as City captain, but ended it on loan at Milan. He was also not included in Pep Guardiola's squad for the Club World Cup in the United States.
The move to Burnley will reunite him with his former Tottenham and England teammate Scott Parker, who helped the team return to the Premier League with a second-place finish in the Championship.
In eight years with Manchester City, the defender won 17 trophies, including six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one Champions League, and was part of the team that won the treble. Walker also has 96 caps for England.
