Marc Marquez (Spain, Ducati Lenovo Team) continued his dominant 2025 season in the MotoGP class of the World Championship with a victory in the Czech Grand Prix. His brother and sole title rival Alex Marquez (Spain, BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) crashed out, BTA reported.

For Marquez, it was victory number 70 in MotoGP and he is flying towards a seventh title in the Royal Class. The Spaniard finished 1.753 seconds ahead of Marco Bezzecchi (Italy, Aprilia Racing) and 3.366 ahead of Pedro Acosta (Spain, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), while qualifying winner Francesco Banaia (Italy, Ducati Lenovo Team) finished fourth.

Banaia led the start in Brno and held off his teammate Marquez's first attack at Turn 3 of the first lap. However, he was unable to defend against Bezzecchi and gave up first place, which was the beginning of his slide in the race.

Marquez overtook Banaia on the second lap, and on the eighth the Spaniard also attacked Bezzecchi. The Ducati rider made the maneuver for first position before entering Turn 3 and from that moment on was unattainable for the others.

Meanwhile, Alex Marquez and Joan Mir (Spain, Honda HRC Castrol) were the first to drop out of the race. This leaves Marc Marquez 120 points ahead of his brother in the drivers' standings, with just ten weeks left in the season.
