Newcastle striker Alexander Isak has agreed personal terms with Liverpool, claims Sasha Tavolieri, quoted by sportal.bg.
The contract is for five years, and the salary corresponds to the player's requirements. The source did not specify the specific financial parameters.
So far, Isak has been earning around 130,000 pounds a week. It is alleged that his agents have insisted on a salary approaching 300,000 pounds.
According to Tavolieri, a meeting between the two clubs is scheduled in the next 48 hours. Newcastle want around 150 million pounds for the Swede, while Liverpool hope to close the deal for 120 million plus bonuses. There are suggestions that the first offer from the Merseysiders, which will only be a starting point for specifying the negotiations, will be for around 100 million.
