Milan are ready to strengthen their attack with a new big name. The club have reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Christopher Nkunku (right), reports “La Gazzetta dello Sport”. The Frenchman has already arrived in Italy for a medical, and the deal is valued at 38 million euros plus bonuses.
Nkunku joined Chelsea two years ago for 65 million euros after an impressive stint at RB Leipzig, but injuries prevented him from reaching his full potential at “Stamford Bridge“. At the London club, he recorded 62 matches with 18 goals and 5 assists.
The striker wore the PSG team at the beginning of his career. The “Rossoneri“ turned to Nkunku after negotiations for Konrad Harder collapsed.
The player was not convinced of his role at Milan, and Sporting Lisbon changed the terms of the deal at the last minute. However, the club's efforts do not end with Nkunku.
ilan is actively looking for a classic center forward and is in contact with Roma for Artem Dovbik. The two clubs are discussing an exchange option with Santiago Jimenez, but the Mexican is not inclined to move to Rome. However, the “wolves“ may allow Dovbik to leave, possibly on loan, if they find his replacement in time. Roma are currently working on the transfer of Brian Broby from Ajax.
