A new sponsor may enter Levski from next year, claims “Mach Telegraf“. A Bulgarian company has begun exploratory talks on what conditions and when it can become the general sponsor of the “blues“.
Another important point is that the possible new sponsor has the option to take part of the shares and thus acquire a minority stake in the club. Currently, Nasko Sirakov holds 86.6 percent of the club's shares, and 9.88 percent are owned by the association "Levski na Levskarite", which is a fierce opponent of the current management of the "blues".
Among the options for the future distribution of ownership is the possible new sponsor receiving 30 percent of Sirakov's shares.
