Details about the most advanced headlights with artificial intelligence in the world - 1

The world of automotive technology is about to enter a new era, in which headlights are no longer just lighting fixtures, but intelligent communication channels. Tomorrow, April 15, XPeng will lift the curtain on its new technological peak - the flagship SUV called GX. This model is the result of a strategic partnership with the technology giant Huawei and promises to redefine the concept of “intelligent driving“.

The most impressive element in the XPeng GX is its optical system, powered by artificial intelligence. Thanks to Huawei Qiankun technology, the car has digital projection headlights based on DLP (Digital Light Processing). They do not just illuminate the road, but literally “draw“ on it in real time. The headlights can project navigation arrows directly onto the asphalt, pedestrian warning signs or virtual markings for a safe distance. What's more - when stationary, the system turns the GX into a mobile cinema capable of projecting videos onto any smooth surface.

A technological symphony in the interior

The collaboration between the two companies does not stop at the exterior. The GX inherits and further develops the panoramic AR-HUD system “Chasing Light“, which we first saw in the G7 model. It is a huge 87-inch virtual display on the windshield with a brightness of 12,000 nits - figures that guarantee perfect visibility even in the brightest sun. All this works with almost zero latency, making driving an experience close to augmented reality.

Power and Range: No Compromises

The XPeng GX is designed to satisfy every type of customer, being available in two main versions:

Pure Electric (BEV): With a range of up to 750 km on a single charge.

Extended Range Hybrid (EREV): Here, the battery provides 320 km on electric power alone, and a 1.5-liter gasoline engine serves as a generator to completely eliminate the worry of long journeys.

Both versions rely on all-wheel drive (AWD) and a total power that allows this giant to reach 200 km/h without any problems. Unlike its smaller siblings, the GX will also be available with the more durable NMC batteries, in addition to the standard LFP cells.

Luxury in yacht dimensions

With a length of nearly 5.3 meters and a wheelbase of 3115 mm, the GX offers royal space for six passengers. The design, inspired by luxury yachts, includes clean lines, a panoramic roof and the innovative “steer-by-wire“ control system (without mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the wheels).

The brand's CEO, He Xiaopeng, is categorical: all the best that the industry has today has been invested in this model. With support for Level 4 autonomous driving, the XPeng GX faces directly against titans such as the NIO ES9 and Zeekr 9X, claiming leadership in the premium segment. The battle for the future of smart SUVs has officially begun.
