In a new video from Boston Dynamics, the robot dog Spot demonstrates its effectiveness and usefulness in rescue and search operations. The development has already been successfully used in the field. Spot comes with a built-in arm with a grip system for lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 6.8 kg. The maximum payload for towing objects is 22.67 kg. In addition, the robot is equipped with a speaker and microphones to provide a communication channel with the team during search and rescue missions, front cameras and a Spot CAM + IR system for a 360-degree view of the area in real time, as well as thermal imaging cameras with high resolution that can work even in a smoky room.
