The abbreviation FJ stands for Frantisek Janecek. The company's specialists decided to dedicate the motorcycle to František Janecek, the man who founded the Jawa company back in 1929.
The new Jawa 42 FJ is a sports motorcycle of the Cafe racer class, made in a retro style. It has small fenders, a short saddle and a narrow teardrop fuel tank. The buyer can choose bright colors and graphics. The weight of the bicycle is 184 kg.
The Jawa 42 FJ motorcycle is equipped with a 334 cc four-stroke liquid-cooled gasoline engine that develops 29 hp. and its maximum torque is 29.6 Nm.
The engine is combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. The bike gets both front and rear disc brakes and is equipped with ABS. The new Jawa 42 FJ is manufactured in India and is already on sale there at a price of 200,000 rupees ($2,400). The model will soon be exported to other countries.
