According to the data presented, the components for the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the 256 GB version cost Apple approximately $485, including the assembly process and packaging. By comparison, last year's iPhone 15 Pro Max cost the company $453 - $32 less.
One of the most expensive components in the new iPhone is the 6.9-inch OLED display, which costs $80, accounting for 16% of the total price. The price of the processor increased from 40 to 45 dollars.
The regular iPhone 16 costs $416 - $21 more than the iPhone 15 ($395). The most expensive component of this smartphone is the display at $65 (16% of the total price). Memory has significantly increased in price - from 9 to 17 dollars due to an increase in volume from 6 to 8 GB and the transition to faster modules.
