Sony insider Dixon published photos of mockups of the fourth-generation iPhone SE on the social network X. The 2025 model will be radically different from its predecessor and at the same time will resemble one of Apple's first smartphones.
The photos of the mockups confirm numerous rumors about the updated design of the fourth-generation iPhone SE. Let's recall that the iPhone SE 3, released in 2022, like the 2020 model, was a complete copy of the iPhone 8 from 2017.
Now, the new product will have a body with flat edges, like the iPhone 12, as well as only one camera on the back. All this will make the next iPhone SE look very similar to the iPhone 4 from 2010.
The iPhone SE is rumored to have a 6.1-inch OLED display with thin bezels. Most sources point to a notch like the iPhone 14, but there is also a possibility that the smartphone will have a Dynamic Island, like the iPhone 15/16. Therefore, the Touch ID fingerprint scanner will be replaced by the Face ID facial recognition system.
According to available information, the iPhone SE (2025) will receive an A18 processor, like the new iPhone 16. Thanks to this, the device will support all the functions of Apple's artificial intelligence.
In addition, in the basic version it will be equipped with a 128 GB drive. The battery capacity should increase to 3,279 mAh. The main camera is expected to be 48 megapixels, and the front - 12 megapixels, which will be a significant improvement compared to the 12 and 7 megapixels of its predecessor.
