Erica Kirk, the widow of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, made her first public statement on Friday, vowing that her husband's mission will continue despite his murder, bTV reported.
“The Villains responsible for my husband's murder have no idea what they've unleashed. The fire you lit in me, the screams of a widow will reverberate around the world like a battle cry,“ Erica Kirk said.
She described her husband as someone who “sacrificed his life for our nation“ and warned those responsible: “The movement my husband founded will not die. I won't let this happen.“ Erica Kirk shared how she broke the news to her 3-year-old daughter and thanked Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, as well as law enforcement officials, for their support in the wake of the shooting.
The man arrested in the shooting death of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk will appear in court Tuesday. Tyler Robinson will be charged with first-degree murder, obstruction of justice and concealment of a weapon. The 22-year-old shooter's father reportedly urged him to turn himself in, and another relative reported the shooting to authorities.
