Ukraine has returned 1,000 bodies, which according to the Russian side belong to fallen Ukrainian servicemen. This was reported by Ukrinform, citing a statement by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, published on Telegram, BTA reports.
In the coming days, investigators from law enforcement agencies, together with forensic experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will conduct the necessary examinations and identify the repatriated remains.
The repatriation operation was made possible thanks to the joint efforts of:

The Coordination Headquarters expressed gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for the assistance provided. Special thanks were also extended to the servicemen who transported the repatriated bodies to state facilities and organized their transfer to the Ministry of Internal Affairs bodies.
