The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it has established control over the Serebryanskoye forestry in the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR). The area is a pine forest in the northern part of Luhansk region, where Ukrainian troops have been defending themselves for nearly three years, starting in the fall of 2022, News.bg reports.
In late summer and early autumn, Russian forces managed to advance along the front line between the cities of Liman and Seversk, pushing Ukrainian troops out of part of the Serebryanskoye forest and launching an offensive towards the village of Yampol.
In addition, the Russian Ministry reported that it had taken control of the village of Muravka in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic.
