Maria Zakharova: Ukraine is preparing a provocation to start a war between Russia and NATO - 1

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova claims that Ukraine is preparing a foreign-flag operation in Romania and Poland using refurbished Russian drones.

"About Kiev's plans to conduct a false-flag operation in Romania and Poland", Zakharova wrote on Telegram.

"Today, several Hungarian media outlets reported on Zelensky's plans to carry out sabotage operations in Romania and Poland in order to blame Russia for them. Thus, on Bankova (on Bankova Street in Kiev, the building of the presidency of Ukraine is located) they are preparing their "Gleiwitz Incident" (an active measure of the German secret services under the code name "Cans", carried out on August 31, 1939, which is considered the beginning of World War II) in order to create a Casus belli (cause for war) for a war between Russia and NATO", she also points out.

"Judging by the available information, the plan of the Kiev regime is as follows:

1. To repair several downed or intercepted Russian UAVs.

2. To equip them with combat weapons.

3. To direct the UAVs controlled by Ukrainian specialists in the form of "Russian drones" to major NATO transport hubs in Poland and Romania.

4. At the same time, to conduct a disinformation campaign in Europe in order to blame Moscow for everything.

5. To ignite an armed conflict between the Russian Federation and NATO".

"For the purposes of this provocation, on September 16, at the Yavorovsky training ground in Western Ukraine, where the International Center for Peacekeeping and International Security of the National Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny is located, Russian UAVs "Geran" have already been delivered. They were previously repaired in Lviv at the "LORTA" plant.

"As Hungarian journalists write, the reason for Zelensky's actions is simple - the Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering a crushing defeat. The defeat of the army is no longer at the tactical level, but is acquiring a strategic character.

"If all this is confirmed, we must admit: never in modern history has Europe been so close to the start of World War III," Zakharova concluded.

On Friday (September 27), Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, had reported to him about incidents with drones on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border.
