Ukraine hopes for $1 billion in NATO funding per month - 1

Kiev and its allies are seeking $1 billion in funding per month under NATO's initiative for a list of priority requirements for Ukraine. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The arms purchase program was launched in August, with over $1 billion so far provided by the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Germany and Canada have already committed $500 million each for the next tranches, and Belgium, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Iceland and Luxembourg have pledged additional support.

"The priority list for Ukraine allows us to purchase defensive weapons that we urgently need to save more lives, such as the "Patriot" and other critical American equipment, and it is already yielding real results," Zelensky noted.
