At night, Russian drones once again attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Odessa region, the regional governor announced, BTA reported.

At night, Russian drones once again attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Odessa region, the chairman of the Odessa regional military administration Oleg Kiper announced in the Telegram application.

"Despite the active work of the air defense, as a result of the night attack with drones, a transport infrastructure facility was damaged. Unfortunately, one worker was injured. He was provided with medical assistance. Another person was injured, and the roof and glazing of his private house were also damaged," said Oleg Kiper.

According to his information, power outages were recorded.

"By the morning, power engineers had managed to restore the damaged infrastructure from various sources, where this was technically possible. Currently, 11.3 thousand subscribers have electricity, and 46.6 thousand users remain temporarily without power. Repair work is ongoing," Kiper noted.

Employees of the State Emergency Service in the Odessa region continue to eliminate the consequences. According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Development, Russia attacked the depot of the Ukrainian railway "Ukrzaliznytsia" in Odessa with drones at night. The train driver was injured by shrapnel. He was provided with the necessary medical care.

The Bulgarians in the Odessa region number over 150,000 people and are the third largest according to the latest official census in Ukraine. About 50-60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odessa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
