The power supply to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which was shut down at around 11 p.m. last night, has been fully restored, Ukrinform reported, citing the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, BTA reported.
"Power supply to all facilities of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which was shut down due to enemy shelling of infrastructure in the city of Slavutych, has been fully restored", the statement said.
Radiation levels at the site remain within permissible limits and there is no threat to the population.
"Thank you to our energy workers for their quick and efficient work! Your efforts guarantee the safety of all of Ukraine and Europe," said Energy Minister Svitlana Grinchuk.
