The Ukrainian side does not hide its plans for new terrorist attacks against Russia and operations planned with a view to the United States. This was stated today by the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova during a briefing, RIA Novosti reports, quoted by Focus.
According to her, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky directly stated this in a video address. He said he had approved plans for certain operations by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) against Russia.
"Apparently, they were prepared with a view to the possible acquisition of long-range American Tomahawk missiles by the Armed Forces of Ukraine“, she said.
Earlier, the Kyiv Post reported that Donald Trump was close to making a “historic decision“ to supply Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles. According to the publication, the move was provoked by “Russia's latest destructive attacks on Ukraine's energy grid“.
On October 15, retired US General Jack Keane said that if Ukraine acquired long-range Tomahawk missiles, its “number one target“ would be a missile production facility in Russia, which is said to employ “20,000 North Koreans“.
