North Korean fighters are testing weapons and using the Kursk region as a training ground for modern warfare

Russian troops do not have enough drones in the Kursk region and are losing personnel on the front in the Liman region. He also claims that North Korean troops in the Kursk region are actively testing North Korean weapons, including multiple launch rocket systems, in the Ukrainian theater of operations in order to gain useful knowledge about modern warfare.

Russian troops continue their offensive operations in the northern part of the Kharkiv region, but have not made any confirmed progress.

Russian troops are attacking northeast of Kharkiv, near Volchansk, Volchanskiy khutori, and Tykhoe. A Russian military blogger affiliated with the group of troops "North" claims that the AFU is counterattacking near Tykhoe.

Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Zaporozhets, spokesman for the 11th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports that Russian troops are building fortifications in the area of Serebryanskaya Gora (southeast of Liman); the number of combat engagements in October has decreased to 10 per day, which is approximately half the average daily number in September.

According to him, Russian losses have increased to 98 killed and wounded per day in October 2025 from 93 killed and wounded per day in September 2025.

Russian troops continue their advance in the direction of Seversk, but are not advancing.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding their positions or have recently advanced in the Konstantinovka-Druzhkovka tactical area.
