The Norwegian government announced a donation of another 1.5 billion Norwegian kroner (about 128.5 million euros) to Ukraine, intended for the purchase of natural gas, which will provide electricity and heating in the winter, Reuters reported, citing an official government statement, News.bg reports.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Oslo, where he met with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre at the military part of Gardermoen Airport. The meeting is part of a diplomatic tour aimed at strengthening energy and military support for Ukraine.
Later today, Zelensky will travel to Sweden, where he will meet with the prime minister at the Saab aircraft plant in Linköping, the manufacturer of the Gripen fighter jet.
On Thursday, the Ukrainian leader will head to Brussels and then take part in a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing" in London, a senior presidential administration source told AFP.
