During his address to the Army General Staff, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a signal to Western countries that the Russian armed forces are in full control of the situation in Donbas, the Spanish news agency EFE reported.
The agency highlighted Putin's appearance and his military uniform, which "projects Russia's confidence on the battlefield". It is noted that the signal about the rapid advance of the Russian armed forces in the DPR was also addressed to US President Donald Trump.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited one of the army command posts and held a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov and the commanders of the groups participating in the hostilities, who reported to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on the situation on the line of contact.
This is the second time that the president has appeared in military uniform since the beginning of autumn. In September, he wore it when he attended the strategic exercises “Zapad-2025“.
