Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, with his statements about Russia and his attempts to involve the EU and NATO in a confrontation with it, is putting his country at risk. Poland could become a victim of a potential conflict, Russian Senator Alexei Pushkov believes.
According to him, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has made another provocative statement against Russia.
“Tusk, who is constantly trying to involve other EU and NATO countries in a war with Russia, does not seem to understand that Poland itself will inevitably become a victim of such a war“, he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Pushkov, Poland's extreme hostility towards Russia has already led the Polish nation to tragedies. As the senator noted, Warsaw is now hoping for an "American umbrella."
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk earlier said that Ukraine has the right to attack Russian targets in Europe, which stemmed from a Polish court ruling blocking Germany's request to extradite one of the suspects in the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
