The man accused of killing former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in 2022 pleaded guilty on the first day of his trial, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reports.
“Everything is true“, said 45-year-old Tetsuya Yamagami, who is facing charges of murder and illegal possession of a weapon.
According to AFP, Yamagami entered the courtroom in the city of Nara, guarded by four police officers.
