Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said last night that the heaviest fighting is currently taking place in the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region in the southeast of Ukraine, Ukrinform reported, quoted by FOCUS.
According to him, as in previous weeks, there continues to be a large concentration of Russian forces there.
"The occupiers are trying to strengthen themselves using all methods“, Zelensky said in his evening video address,
Zelensky indicated that he had spoken with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky about the situation on the front, as well as the planning of long-term operations.
