President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday, November 2, that Germany has delivered Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine, NV reports, quoted by FOKUS.

"We have strengthened the Patriot component in our Ukrainian air defense. I thank Germany and personally Chancellor Friedrich Merz for this joint step of ours to protect human lives from Russian terror. We have been preparing this strengthening of air defense for some time, and now the agreements reached have been implemented. Thank you to everyone who helped!“ - the Ukrainian head of state wrote on Telegram.

At the same time, he did not specify exactly how many anti-aircraft missile systems were delivered.

According to Zelensky, negotiations on further strengthening Ukraine's air defense continue both at the government level and directly with the manufacturers of the systems.

"Together with our partners, we continue to work on building a reliable air defense system. And our capabilities will be able to ensure the security not only of Ukraine, but also of our partners, when necessary“, he emphasizes.

Earlier, on November 1, the Aid to Ukraine organization announced that in the coming days Ukraine will receive two Patriot air defense systems, the delivery of which Germany announced in early August 2025.

They note that the Russians continue to strike not only directly at the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine at the front. The Russian Federation is also constantly striking at settlements and in areas close to the line of combat contact.

"As a result of the enemy's combined strike, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At this stage, the relevant law enforcement agencies are working, in particular, the circumstances regarding compliance with and implementation of the requirements of the orders of the Commander-in-Chief and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on timely notification of missile danger, prohibitions (restrictions) on the deployment of personnel and holding meetings and assemblies in open areas, as well as deployment in places not designated for this purpose,“ writes the press service of “Iztok“.
