American actress Diane Ladd, known for her role in Martin Scorsese's film “Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore“ (1974), has died at the age of 90, the “Hollywood Reporter“ reported, citing her daughter Laura Dern.
Ladd died in the presence of her daughter at her home in Ojai, California, on November 3. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
During her acting career, Ladd appeared in over 200 films and television series. She received three “Oscar“ nominations: the first for “Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore“, and the second and third for her work in “Wild at Heart“ (1990) and “Naughty Rose“ (1991). Mother and daughter appear together in both films.
