North Korea has fired a ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan, Yonhap News Agency reported, citing the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Republic of Korea.
Japanese authorities had previously warned of the launch.
The People's Republic of Korea last fired a ballistic missile on October 22. This is the seventh launch in 2025 and the second since Lee Jae-myung took office as President of the Republic of Korea.
Yonhap News Agency notes that on November 4, the United States imposed sanctions on eight North Korean citizens.
The North Korean Foreign Ministry said it would respond in kind to Washington's policy.
