The Russian Armed Forces have shot down all ATACMS missiles launched yesterday at Voronezh using S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems and Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun systems, the Russian Defense Ministry announced.
Remains of the destroyed ATACMS missiles damaged the roofs of the Regional Gerontological Center in Voronezh, an orphanage and a private home, without causing casualties among the civilian population, the military ministry added.
Missile strike from the “Iskander-M“ complex destroyed launchers in the Kharkiv region, from which ATACMS missiles were fired at the Voronezh region. The ammunition and the crew, numbering up to 10 people, were also destroyed, the Ministry of Defense reported.
„Two launchers for multiple launch rocket systems MLRS, manufactured in the United States, were detected near the village of Voloskaya Balakleya (50 km southeast of the village of Chuguev). Deploying the missile complex „Iskander-M“ "launched a missile strike on a missile position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, destroying two MLRS launchers with ammunition and crew (up to 10 people)," the Defense Ministry said in a video.
On November 18, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired four US-made ATACMS missiles at Voronezh.
