The American and Ukrainian delegations have begun a meeting in the United States to discuss ways to resolve the crisis in Ukraine. This was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Rustem Umerov, who heads the Ukrainian delegation.
„A meeting between the Ukrainian delegation and the American side on steps to achieve a dignified peace has already begun in the United States,“ Umerov wrote on his Telegram channel.
He added that he is in constant contact with Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian Secretary of the NSDC also said that he is conducting negotiations based on Zelensky's “directives“ and “developments achieved in Geneva“ on November 23 during talks between the US and Ukrainian delegations. Umerov added that he would report to Zelensky on the results of the talks in the US.
Umerov had previously announced the start of a meeting with the US delegation on his Telegram channel, but then deleted the post without explaining the reason.
