Eric Trump, the son of the US president, has revived the Trump vodka brand. A 0.7 liter bottle will cost customers $47.45, which is roughly twice the average price of vodka in the US.

This price is a reference to Donald Trump's presidential terms (he became the 45th and 47th president of the United States). The first 4,745 bottles will be released in anniversary packaging, known as a special edition, and will cost customers $75 for the same 0.7 liters.

Donald Trump already launched his own brand of vodka in 2005.

However, production was discontinued in 2011 after the product failed in the market. This is partly due to the prohibitive production costs (expensive glass bottles and gold leaf labels), but also to the established image of Donald Trump among the American public, who would never drink this vodka himself and would not recommend it to others.

The American president has always spoken out against cigarettes, alcohol and drugs.

His older brother, Fred, was an alcoholic and died at the age of 42. Donald Trump publicly blamed alcohol for his brother's early death.
