Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev mocked French President Emmanuel Macron for his alleged warnings that the United States could betray Ukrainian interests by allowing territorial concessions to Russia.
In a post on the social network X, Medvedev cited the warning of "brave Micron", noting that it was said in a leaked conversation of "degenerate European Russophobes" on December 1.
"Maybe it's time to send a few of the "best submarines in the world" to the shores of France," he concluded with a laughing emoji.
Despite the reports, Macron confirmed earlier today that unity between the US and Europe was "essential" to resolve the Ukrainian conflict and that further economic pressure must be brought to bear on Moscow.
