The press service recalled that the detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet left the port of Vladivostok on October 1 on a long-distance voyage to carry out assigned tasks in the Asia-Pacific region and strategically important areas of the oceans.

“Marshal Shaposhnikov“ was launched in January 1985 at the shipyard “Amber“ in Kaliningrad as a large anti-submarine ship of project 1155. In 2016, it underwent repairs and modernization at the ship repair center “Dalzavod“ in Vladivostok. During the modernization, “Marshal Shaposhnikov“ was reclassified as a frigate and received modern missile complexes “Kalibr-NK“ and “Uran“. After tests The frigate will return to the Pacific Fleet on April 27, 2021.

The large sea tanker “Boris Butoma“ is a complex supply tanker for the Pacific Fleet. Built according to project 1559-V (codename "Sea Space") at the Baltic Shipyard, it was commissioned on October 30, 1978.
