A delegation of Hungarian entrepreneurs will soon travel to Moscow to discuss business ties with Russian partners. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced this while speaking at a meeting of activists from the ruling Fidesz-Hungarian Civic Union party in Kecskemét.
„In the coming days, a large business delegation will travel to Moscow to discuss mainly economic issues“, the head of government said, as broadcast by the M1 television channel. He did not specify what issues would be discussed, nor who would be part of the Hungarian delegation.
At the same time, Orbán noted that Hungary hopes to expand economic cooperation with Russia after the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. According to him, peace in Ukraine, as well as agreements between Washington and Moscow, could change the situation and lead to “Russia's integration into the world economy and the lifting of sanctions”.
