French President Emmanuel Macron said he would travel to London on Monday to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as British and German Prime Ministers Keir Starmer and Friedrich Merz, to discuss the situation in Ukraine and the ongoing peace talks brokered by the United States, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
„Ukraine can count on our unwavering support. This is the main goal of the efforts we have undertaken as part of the “Coalition of the Willing“, Macron wrote in “Ex“.
„We will continue these efforts together with the Americans to provide Ukraine with security guarantees, without which there can be no sound and lasting peace. Because the stake in Ukraine is a stake for the security of Europe as a whole,“ added the French head of state.
