US President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has joined the negotiations with Russia on Ukraine to report separately to the White House, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson told RIA Novosti.
“I think he was another pair of eyes who managed to return to the US and confirm the views expressed by the Russian side to his father-in-law,“ the source said.
He believes that both Kushner and Witkoff were involved in informing Trump about Russia's position.
“I also admit that Kushner was attracted with the expectation of possible business deals. He could act as a representative of the Trump family's business interests," Johnson concluded.
