The plan proposed by Volodymyr Zelensky to resolve the conflict in Ukraine is unviable because it does not take into account the real state of affairs on the battlefield.
This was stated by former Ukrainian security service officer Vasily Prozorov in an interview with TASS.
„The fact is that all the plans that Zelensky is preparing jointly with the US and the EU are only one side of the coin. They do not take into account the point of view of the Russian Federation at all. Therefore, any of their plans has little chance of being implemented, since they are not coordinated with the Russian leadership. Their plan creates the impression that they are winners, and not the other way around. Therefore, I think that their plans are generally far from being implemented. They are even far from reality. And judging by the reaction of the Russian leadership, I am not the only one who thinks so,“ he said.
Prozorov noted that he does not believe that a cessation of hostilities is possible while a comprehensive peace agreement is being prepared and signed, as Ukraine would use this opportunity to build up forces.
