Anyone who finds themselves near a "sleeping bear" should ask themselves how they got there. This was stated to journalists today by the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, quoted by TASS, writes Focus.
This was her comment on the warning of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Ukraine. Previously, he called on Kiev not to wake up the "sleeping bear", but to find "normal relations" with it.
"I would like to supplement this quote and ask one question - wouldn't you like to ask yourself why you are sleeping next to a bear? "How did you end up there?" the diplomat said on Sputnik radio.
