By refusing to participate in the allocation of $90 billion from the EU budget for Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic expressed the opinion not only of their citizens, but also of many Europeans.
This opinion was expressed by Alexei Pushkov, head of the Information Policy Committee of the Federation Council.
According to Pushkov, Brussels is mistaken in believing that the pressure to support the European Commission's plans is not causing resistance in EU countries.
„By refusing to participate in the allocation of $90 billion from the EU budget for Ukraine, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic expressed the opinion not only of their citizens, but also of many Europeans“, Pushkov wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, recent surveys "in a once very pro-European Poland" show that almost 25% of the republic's citizens support the country's exit from the EU.
