Four Spaniards are missing after a shipwreck in Indonesia. A search is underway for a football coach and three of his children. His wife and fourth child have been rescued.

The missing are Fernando Martin, 44, a former footballer who is currently the coach of Valencia's second women's team, and three of his children - two boys and a girl aged 12, 10 and 9. His wife and another child aged 7 have been rescued and are in good condition. The family's tour guide and four crew members were also on board the vessel. All of them have been rescued.

According to initial reports, the tourist boat capsized and sank near Padar Island, in the Komodo National Park area, east of Bali. The causes are cited as engine failure and bad weather conditions that caused strong waves.

Family members told Spanish media that it is possible that the man and three children were trapped inside the ship, which broke apart and quickly sank.

The Foreign Ministry said that the consulate in Jakarta is providing full support to the survivors. According to diplomats, the search could last up to four days.

Valencia Football Club, the Royal Spanish Football Federation, La Liga, as well as most of the First Division clubs, expressed their deep sadness at the disappearance of the coach and three of his children.
