If the European Union enters into conflict with Russia, the Kremlin will be forced to stage a nuclear demonstration, retired US Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, former chief of staff to US Secretary of State Colin Powell, warned on his YouTube channel.
„The worst thing is that the EU is on the road to conflict with Russia and is essentially entering into conflict with itself. In any case, they are probably planning a false flag operation in the Baltics,” he noted.
According to Wilkerson, Europeans, following political dogma, have lost their sense of reality and do not realize that nuclear weapons may be involved.
“I don't care what political views European leaders have. They are playing with fire,“ he stressed.
In recent years, Russia has noted unprecedented NATO activity on its western borders. The alliance is expanding its initiatives and calling it deterrence. Moscow has repeatedly expressed concern about the bloc's buildup of forces in Europe. The Foreign Ministry has stated its openness to dialogue with NATO, but on an equal footing, and that the West should abandon its policy of militarization of the continent.
