Former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro will appear before a judge in New York today at noon, the court announced.
He will then be formally indicted, Agence France-Presse reported.
Accused by the US judiciary, among other things, of “narcoterrorism“ and importing cocaine into the US, the Venezuelan head of state was captured yesterday during a US military operation and will be brought before the federal court of the Southern District in Manhattan tomorrow.
